The Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, is continuing its streak of accolades after being awarded AAA Four Diamond status not once, not twice, but three times. The newly renovated, year-round resort, which celebrated its 108th anniversary in 2010, was recently honored with the 2011 AAA Four Diamond rating for Lodging and the AAA Four Diamond rating for Dining in both The Dining Room at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel and The Dining Room at the Omni Bretton Arms Inn.
The AAA Four Diamond rating for Lodging is awarded to luxury establishments boasting refined and stylish accommodations, enhanced levels of quality and an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail. The AAA Four Diamond rating for Dining designates a restaurant geared for a distinctive fine-dining experience with menus that reflect a high degree of creativity and complexity, imaginative presentations to enhance already high quality and market-fresh ingredients. The overall experience is exceptional, with knowledgeable wine stewards and an ambiance that is highly refined, comfortable and well-coordinated while incorporating quality materials and upscale design.
The three AAA Four Diamond awards follow the completion of the Omni Mount Washington Resort’s four-year, $60 million expansion and renovation. The latest phase of the project saw enhancements to all guest rooms in the Omni Mount Washington Hotel, the re-conceptualization of several onsite restaurants, and the renovation and re-conception of a new three-bedroom Family Suite spanning 1,400 square feet.
“Earning the Four Diamond rating from AAA is indeed an honor and receiving the recognition at both the Omni Mount Washington and Omni Bretton Arms Inn for dining is most rewarding to our talented and dedicated team of associates who never wavered in their pursuit of excellence,” said Larry Magor, Managing Director of the Omni Mount Washington Resort. “To all of our associates, the AAA Four Diamond awards are richly deserved.”
