The infamous Condé Nast Traveler’s 2013 Reader’s Choice Award has honored a large list of resorts and hotels ranging across Africa this year. Veteran African travel outfitter Great Safaris private, luxury safaris feature a majority of the winning properties as accommodations for their travelers. According to Condé Nast Traveler, nearly 80,000 travelers participated in the Reader’s Choice survey, more than ever before, casting 1.3 million votes. Winners in the resorts and hotels categories were praised for their customer service, accommodations, activities, food, their location and design.
