One of the largest providers of vacation packages in the United States, MLT Vacations, announced that its bookings to Mexico City are growing just as the city is becoming more popular with millennials, baby boomers and other types of vacationers.
As travelers continue to seek richer, more immersive vacation experiences, they are increasingly discovering that Mexico City is a thriving, cosmopolitan international capital just a few hours from many cities in the United States, and that it is home to an abundance of world-class historical and cultural attractions, as well as flourishing fashion, culinary and nightlife scenes.

Bookings to Mexico City by travel professionals so far this year are outpacing 2013 by more than half for Delta Vacations and Aeromexico Vacations, which are marketed by MLT Vacations. Overall, booked room nights in Mexico City are up more than 40 percent year-over-year for 2014.
