A 2012 Belize vacation in the heartland of the Maya has just become more affordable with the introduction of new discounts to Chaa Creek’s all-inclusive Belize vacation packages, marketing administrator Larry Waight said while announcing the new spring and summertime deals. Families, honeymooners and people looking for a rainforest adventure are particularly set to benefit from the reduced rates, he added.

The Lodge at Chaa Creek, Belize’s oldest and most highly awarded eco resort and recent host to Great Britain’s Prince Harry, offers a wide range of Belize vacation packages catering to a variety of interests such as Maya archaeology and culture, Belize inland adventure, rainforest and Caribbean island combinations and one-of-a-kind romance including honeymoons and weddings.

“People know us as Belize’s main eco resort,” Waight said, “But I don’t think there’s a general awareness of our unique vacation packages, each of which cater to different interests and offer great value for money even without the discounts. We’ve been here long enough and have developed such a good network of friends and colleagues throughout Belize that we’re able to offer things no one else can.

“However, the discounts add just that bit more icing to the cake, and we’re offering them on this limited basis to generate more awareness of what a great deal they are,” he said. Waight said Chaa Creek is now also accepting bookings that offer a 20% discount on all rooms between April 22 to May 31 2012, and 10% off rooms during the entire month of July. Selected Belize all-inclusive vacation packages, including the Chaa Creek Expedition package, the Honeymoon Vacation package and the Family Adventure package, attract a 10% discount between 22 April and 31 May as well as for the entire month of July.

“That’s ten per cent off of everything,” Waight explained, “and when you consider what each of these all-inclusive packages offer it’s a pretty amazing deal. At Chaa Creek all-inclusive means just that – rooms, all meals, transfers, activities, equipment, gratuities and even government tax are all taken care of, so all you need to do is show up. We collect you at the airport and drop you back at end of your holiday, and you really don’t need to worry about anything else in between.”

The Lodge at Chaa Creek is situated within a private 365 acre nature reserve home to abundant Belizean flora and fauna as well as over 70 Maya archaeological sites and the ancient temple of Tunichilen.
