The Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Hotel has walked through a significant path during the past 20 years and therefore, in celebration of their 20th anniversary later this year, will offer a series of activities that display their art of living spirit.

October 2015 will mark The Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Hotel’s 20th year in business, after it became the first luxury hotel in Colombia back in 1995. Since then it has managed to position itself as one of the most important hotels in the region, becoming a milestone in the history of the local hotel industry.

The hotel has prepared and designed a whole series of activities that will be carried out every month in 2015 which display the Sofitel spirit from Gastronomy, Culture, Art and well-being.

Sofitel Legend Santa Clara is located in the historical core of Cartagena de Indias, declared by UNESCO as a“World Historical and Cultural Heritage Site. This is the result of the restoration of the ancient Santa Clara de Asis Convent, built in the 17th century, which opened in October 1995 in order to yield to a new era in the concept of the hotel industry.

Most recently, The Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Hotel just received a 100 out of 100 score in the annual review conducted by the Fine Hotels & Resorts Program, aimed at the most exclusive American Express customers.
