Great Safaris has launched a new itinerary featuring South Africa and Victoria Falls, showcasing Relais & Châteaux properties in Cape Town, Kruger Park, Johannesburg and Victoria Falls. This is the first time these Relais & Châteaux properties have combined their efforts with a North American tour operator.

The journey will commence in Cape Town, where guests can discover the Cape of Good Hope and tour vineyards in the Winelands. Once in Kruger National Park, guests will venture out on morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five. Safari-goers will make a brief stop in the vibrant capital of Johannesburg on their way to Victoria Falls and a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River.

Each night, travelers will rest and relax at one of four Relais & Châteaux accommodations: Ellerman House, the quintessential urban retreat in Cape Town; Camp Jabulani, merging classic and elegant interiors with the natural bush in Kruger National Park; Athoplace Boutique Hotel, contemporary-classic glamour and relaxed elegance in Johannesburg; and Royal Chundu River Lodge, a quiet and sophisticated lodge with world class service on the banks of the Zambezi River.

Relais & Châteaux is an association of the world’s finest hoteliers, chefs and restaurateurs that has set the standard for excellence in the hospitality industry. Relais & Châteaux has redefined luxury hospitality by emphasizing holistic experiences that transport its guests, taking them on a sensual journey and introducing them to a deeper, truer understanding of the Art of Living.

The Safari in Style is a 12-day, Platinum Level tour for $9,595 per person through August 2014 and $9,995 September – December 2014.
