For the fifth consecutive year, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts – a leading all-inclusive hotel chain with properties in Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica and Spain – was recognized by Apple Vacations, one of the United States’ leading vacation companies, for its high level of hospitality excellence.
Luxury Bahia Principe Fantasia in Punta Cana, the hotel chain’s most recent family-friendly resort, was the recipient of a 2017 Crystal Apple Award, one of the most coveted awards in the travel industry, under the Best All-Inclusive Family Resort category. Luxury Bahia Principe Fantasia, Bahia Principe’s newest resort in its Bavaro complex, is a high-end, family-friendly resort with over 500 suites each with their own private balconies. The property is also home to pools with castles, nightly entertainment, the brand’s signature Bahia Spa and various gourmet dining options and bars. The resort boasts a family-friendly water park, teen’s club and the Bahia Scouts program for younger travelers. Fantasia is the brand’s latest hotel concept and Bahia Principe plans to inaugurate its next Fantasia property in 2018 in Tenerife, Spain.

Seven additional Bahia Principe properties were recognized by Apple Vacations during the 2017 Golden Apple Awards, which are earned through exceptional customer ratings: Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay in Jamaica; Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal, Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an, and Grand Bahia Principe Coba located in Bahia Principe’s Riviera Maya Complex; Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado, Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda and Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Green in the Dominican Republic.
With the highest hotel capacity in the Dominican Republic, the Dominican Association of Tour Operators (ADOTUR) and Dominican Republic’s Popular Bank named Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts 2017’s Hotel Chain of the Year in July.
