With over 92,000 votes Sofitel Legend Santa Clara is on the top of the list of the best hotels in Central and South America, as ranked by Condé Nast Traveler.

The Colombian establishment shares the acknowledgement with hotels from Brazil, Argentina and Peru, with Peru having the majority of the hotels ranked in this list.

“This award has been kept thanks to the important job we have been doing inside the Hotel and in the domestic and international hospitality and tourism market, with excellence and innovation, by creating special spaces and environments for our guests, besides from offering an exclusive and specialized service,” said Mr. Richard Launay, General Manager of the hotel.

October 2015 will mark The Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Hotel’s 20th year in business, after it became the first luxury hotel in Colombia back in 1995. Since then it has managed to position itself as one of the most important hotels in the region, becoming a milestone in the history of the local hotel industry.

The hotel has prepared and designed a whole series of activities that will be carried out every month in 2015 which display the Sofitel spirit from Gastronomy, Culture, Art and well-being.
