Backed by a history of over 20 years, the International Tourism Show in Catalonia (SITC) will go a step further in 2015 and begin a new phase as B-Travel.

After analyzing the latest trends in tourism and taking into account the demands of the new traveler, SITC evolves into B-Travel with a format that adds value tourism experiences in order to meet the challenges of the sector and changes in habits and motivations of a traveler.

B-Travel will be structured into five themes: B-Happy, for those who wish to share experiences with the company of others (romantic getaways, family travel wellness destinations); B-Special, aimed at visitors who seek unique experiences (shopping, luxury, etc.); B-Culture, for enthusiasts of art, history and culture; B-Adventure, for sport, nature and adventure lovers; and B-Delicious, for those interested in gastronomy.

“As experts in tourism after organizing SITC for over two decades, we lead this change with the support of the exhibiting companies,” said Marta Serra, director of B-Travel.

The fair will be held from April 17-19, 2015 in the Montjuïc of Fira de Barcelona.
