For the past seven years, Make-A-Wish has been the signature charity for Dream Vacations, CruiseOne, Cruises Inc. and parent company World Travel Holdings. Fundraising is always a core component of National Conference and this year, attendees raised more than $116,000, which means 23 children with critical illnesses will have their wishes granted.

While aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s newly launched Norwegian Bliss, franchisees, agents, staff and suppliers participated in a variety of fundraising activities such as silent auctions; Zumba at Sea presented by Celebrity Cruises (pictured right); and Norwegian Cruise Line granting attendees who make a donation exclusive access to the largest race track at sea for one night only.

“Our organization wouldn’t be able to provide life-changing wish experiences to sick children without contributions from a caring community,” said Norman Wedderburn, president & CEO of Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. “The long-term relationship we’ve had with World Travel Holdings and those connected to its brands has had significant and long-lasting impact for families affected by medical crises.”
