Jamaica Inn has announced the appointment of Kyle Mais to General Manager of the hotel.

“Jamaica Inn with its old world charm is truly a luxurious hotel, with an unparalleled guest experience,” said Mais, general manager of Jamaica Inn. “My intention is to continue the tradition and reputation of the Inn, maintaining it as the most highly acclaimed product in Jamaican hospitality.”

With more than 15 years in the travel industry, Mais brings a breadth of knowledge and insightful global experience to the elegant, timeless resort, which is hidden away on a serene private cove in Ocho Rios overlooking breathtaking ocean views.

Mais, who born in Kingston, calls Ocho Rios home and has worked at both large and boutique luxury resorts, including Strawberry Hill, Emerald Bay and Sans Souci Resort and Spa to name a few. Mais holds a B.A. in Economics from Bishops University in Quebec and a MBA from Massey University in Auckland, New Zealand, where he met and married his wife, Hillary. Mais is the father to Cameron, Demi, Trinity and Xavier.
