Barceló Maya Beach Resort, one of Barceló Hotels & Resort’s signature all-inclusive complexes, has added a new award to their collection: The MLT Vacations Quality Assurance Award. The award was presented at MLT University and recognizes Barceló Maya Beach Resort’s commitment to providing outstanding customer service and experience.

Barceló Maya Beach Resort is an all-inclusive complex, comprised of five adjacent resorts located on one of the longest stretches of private beach access in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The resort offers a total of 2,756 rooms, 20 restaurants and 19 bars, as well as a spa facility featuring an authentic Mexican Temazcal and nine swimming pools.

Out of the more than 4,000 hotels, destination management companies and car rental partners offered by MLT Vacations globally, only a group of 275 hotels earned MLT Vacations’ Quality Assurance Award for 2014. The annual designation is earned by MLT vacation partners that achieve a 99 percent customer satisfaction index and product delivery performance during the preceding six months. For the 2014 award, data was gathered from hundreds of thousands of customers who traveled with MLT Vacations. The award ceremony took place on September 14, 2014 during MLT University, a premier travel agent education event in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The resort complex is in the final stages of a $50 million renovation to further enhance the overall guest experience including redesigned Club Premium Suites, a new entertainment center, a water park featuring a surf pool and more.
