Globa.li, a business -to-business hotel reservations portal giving the world’s top hotels in exotic locations expanded, low-cost online distribution, announced a partnership with Hospitality Technology International (Pty) Ltd (HTI) and their eRes Central Reservations System (CRS).

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Globa.li,” said HTI’s Avenant du Toit. “We are always looking for ways to support our hotels by integrating with expanded distribution opportunities, and Globa.li’s dedication to connecting boutique hotels in emerging markets with booking agents from around the world is a perfect fit for us.”

Hotels using HTI’s reservations technology now can be booked by more international travel agents and tour operators thanks to Globa.li’s innovative online hotel reservations marketplace. Now, over 2,500 African hotels using HTI’s reservations software can easily manage agent commissions and distribution channels via Globa.li, do business with new booking agents from around the world and run promotions and incentives with these booking agents throughout the year to help increase occupancy.

“At Globa.li we are committed to helping the world’s best boutique hotels increase occupancy,” said Sarah Fazendin, Co-founder and CEO at Globa.li. “By integrating with HTI’s eRes software we can help the top properties in Africa connect with more booking agents and more easily manage bookings.”

Globa.li is currently running a private test in key markets in Africa and Latin America. With no up-front fees, hotels from Africa and Latin America may currently join Globa.li to be more efficiently booked by thousands of travel agents and tour operators.
