International Nature & Cultural Adventures (INCA) has invited world-renowned cinematographer and director Louie Schwartzberg to join its “Origin of Species” adventure from June 18 to 28.

INCA’s 11-day, 10-night itinerary includes two nights in Quito, an overnight on Santa Cruz Island to see giant tortoises in the wild and a seven-night cruise through the Galápagos Islands of Floreana, Isabela, Fernandina, Santiago, North Seymour and Baltra aboard the luxury yacht Integrity. The journey costs $6,795 per person, double occupancy and is limited to 16 travelers.

INCA’s “Origin of Species” adventure includes all yacht and hotel accommodations; all meals, non-alcoholic beverages and draft beer and use of kayaks and snorkel equipment while on the yacht; all guides, activities, tours and sightseeing arrangements; roundtrip airport transfers, and all arrangements as specified on the itinerary. Not included are airfare, airport taxes and fees; Galápagos National Park fee; Galápagos yacht Fuel Surcharge; wetsuits; tips for yacht crews, guides or naturalists, and other items of a personal nature. The trip is commissionable to travel providers.

Last September, Schwartzberg’s short film “What’s Possible,” about the urgency of global warming opened the United Nations’ summit on climate change and was viewed by 120 world leaders including President Barack Obama. A sought-after speaker who has appeared on Oprah and whose Ted talks have garnered more than 9.5 million viewers, Schwartzberg believes by focusing on nature’s beauty, people can experience a deeper connection with the world. On this trip with INCA, he will share his passion for the environment and talk about the implications of climate change as well as his upcoming film projects.
