Esteban Toledo

Los Cabos sports ambassador Esteban Toledo has become the first Mexican to win the Insperity Championship. The event was held at Woodlands Country Club in Texas.

“Thank you so much for all your support this year and am proud of my win at the Insperity Championship,” said Toldeo.

“I am very excited what this has to bring for me and my foundation. I am having a blast so far on the Champions Tour and look forward to the rest of the season.”

Toledo said he learned to play golf while working at a driving range in Mexico. He is the youngest of 11 children and was a professional boxer for four years, but a case of appendicitis ended that career. He is the founder of the Esteban Toledo Family Foundation which is hosting its first annual tournament in September of 2013.
