Meliá Hotels International has announced the appointment of Santiago Rivera as the General Manager of Paradisus Cancun – the luxury, all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico located 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown.

Santiago Rivera joined the Meliá team in 1999 and has since continued to excel within the company, working with other destination resorts including Hotel Gran Meliá Shanghai, Paradisus Punta Cana, Paradisus Playa Del Carmen La Esmeralda and Meliá Cabo Real.

As an experienced hospitality professional, Mr. Rivera began his hotel career in 1999 with Hotel Meliá Confort Los Galeones, Spain, before working with properties in Africa, Europe, Asia and America.
