Seaborne Airlines has announced that they will launch two new routes from San Juan, Puerto Rico to the French West Indies Islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique. These non stop flights will begin June 1st. This new lift is timed for connections to and from the United States and Canada, with convenient interline connections available via American Airlines. To commemorate the launch of these new destinations, Seaborne is offering fares from EUR 99 one way for travel. Bookings must be made by June 15th for travel by July 31st, 2013.

Commenting on the new services M. Hilaire Brudey, President of Guadeloupe Tourism Authority says “We are very excited about Seaborne Airlines taking over American Eagle’s route from San Juan to Pointe á Pitre. This new route will work perfectly as a complement to the new American Airlines weekly direct flight from Miami and bring the flexibility that travelers needed, we are looking forward to building a long and strong relationship with Seaborne Airlines.”

These routes will be flown with the 34-seat Saab340B turboprop. The Saab operates with two pilots, a flight attendant, in-flight service and a lavatory.
