Sonesta International Hotels Corporation today announced its newest hotel in the Atlanta area, the 426 room Sonesta Gwinnett Place. Scheduled to come under Sonesta management next month, this full service hotel is located in the Atlanta suburb of Duluth. The hotel is currently known as the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place and located northeast of Atlanta.

The hotel is located near major entertainment venues including the Gwinnett Arena, the Performing Arts Centre and the AAA Gwinnett Braves Coolray Field. Other attractions like Lake Lanier, World of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta and the CNN Center are located nearby. Local shopping options include Gwinnett Place Mall, Sugarloaf Mills Mall and the Mall of Georgia.
