The Association for the Promotion of Tourism to Africa (APTA) individual membership drive for 2015 has begun and this year one new and one first-time member stands a chance to win a flight to Cape Town, South Africa, courtesy of South African Airways.

This will give the winners an opportunity to attend any one of four travel industry events being held in South Africa this year: WTM Africa, IBTM Africa, ILTM Africa and We Are Africa. All covering Africa’s inbound and outbound markets for general leisure tourism, luxury travel and the MICE/business travel sector. Winners will be announced at the Focus on Africa seminar during the New York Times Travel Show on 23 January 2015. Registration must be completed on the APTA website (www.apta.biz/individual-registration) by January 16. Winners will be responsible for taxes and tickets must be booked by 31 March, 2015 with travel to be completed by 31 May 2015.

APTA creates networking and marketing opportunities for its members, and serves as a platform for buyers and sellers in the African travel and hospitality industry to meet, mingle, learn from each other and do business. It is the goal and purpose of APTA to promote tourism to the African continent. APTA will seek to improve tourism to Africa through the education of its members.
