The popular 2020 Travel Industry Conference kicked off the three day New York Times Travel Show on Friday January 24. Offering a comprehensive education program designed for travel professional and featuring a general session covering the leisure travel industry, this year’s conference included over 150 speakers including destination experts, research firms, media outlets, travel consultants, tour operators and travel advisors. Travel professionals were able to take in 27 Focus Conferences covering the latest products, services, destination information and trends to keep travel advisors informed on important trends and issues of the day. I attended several morning sessions with many such as Focus on Luxury, Focus on Cruising, and Focus on Tour Operators standing room only sessions due to their popularity this year.

Following the educational tracks, a keynote session and lunch, travel professionals were able to meet with over 750 exhibitor’s, including Dubai Tourism (pictured above) on the trade show floor from 2-7 pm. This annual travel show attracts over 30,000 travel industry and consumers each year.
