Couples Resorts Jamaica says it is on track to complete a $12 million renovation of Couples Sans Souci, one of its four all-inclusive luxury oceanfront resorts, by December 1, 2022. Highlights of the extensive renovation include a new restaurant, upgraded spa facilities and public spaces, and a variety of suite enhancements ranging from fresh new furnishings to large walk-in showers.

Designed to capture the atmosphere of a soothing and luxurious island retreat, the resort’s upgraded suites feature all-new warm wood furnishings, natural textures, and pastel pops of color. Highlights of the suite renovation include new sliding doors of double-paned glass leading to furnished balconies or patios, newly redesigned bathrooms with large walk-in showers clad in fine Italian porcelain, and new LED lighting. Some suites have his-and-hers showers and selected penthouses will now feature terrace tubs.

In addition to the suite renovations, the project features fresh makeovers to popular public spaces, including the lobby (pictured), pool, and restaurants. “In virtually every respect, the resort will be new,” explained Abe Issa, President of Sales & Marketing at Couples Resorts. “We’ve taken exceptional care to ensure that the renovation perfectly complements the resort’s uniquely beautiful location, which features a serene crescent beach, lush tropical gardens, and a natural mineral spring pool.

Additional upgrades and new amenities include:

? New culinary offerings, including Asian-themed specialties served steps from the shore.
? Java, a new coffee bar off the lobby where guests can enjoy Blue Mountain coffee and signature pastries with a view from the top of the resort.
? A new massage hut alongside the Lily Pond and upgraded spa gazebos.
? An expanded and enhanced Balloon Bar featuring additional space for nightly entertainment.
? Updates to multiple restaurants and bars, including a new open kitchen concept and fine wine display in Casanova Restaurant.

“The renovation schedule was carefully planned to have very little, if any, impact on the Couples San Souci experience,” noted Issa. “Restaurants, bars, pools and premium dining options remain plentiful, as well as our included and extensive list of land and water activities and island excursions. As of August 1, the majority of public spaces are open and operational, including the main swim-up bar, Beach Grill, Veggie Bar, Martini Bar, and Sunset Beach Bar, Palazzina, Bella Vista, Sunset Beach Grill, and in-suite dining. Spa and salon services, as well as gym and fitness facilities are available, along with multiple pools, including Couples San Souci’s famous Mineral Spa, Main Pool, Grotto and the au naturel Sunset Beach pool.”
