The Martin County Office of Tourism & Marketing has been recognized for travel marketing excellence by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), winning a total of five Adrian Awards.

The team won a Silver Adrian Award in the “Public Relations/Communications Special Event” category for the Treasure Coast Songwriters Festival; a Bronze President’s Award in the “Digital Contest/Sweepstakes” category for the Summer of Fun Giveaway with Atlanta Magazine; a Bronze in “Advertising Brand Campaign” category for the Mood for Martin campaign; a Bronze in “Advertising Print Collateral” category for the Mood for Martin color-changing direct mailers; and a Bronze in “Environmental, Social, Governance” category for the Explore Natural Martin ecotourism program developed in partnership with Leave No Trace.

The Adrian Awards, now in their 67th year, are the largest and most prestigious competition in global travel marketing, drawing hundreds of submissions from around the world. The Adrian Awards recognize outstanding work in categories such as advertising, digital, public relations/communications, and integrated campaign categories, as well as trending categories for Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).

“The Adrian Awards celebrate the innovation and ingenuity that fuel our success and recognize the marketing leaders whose extraordinary efforts literally ‘open the doors’ to exploration and excitement,” said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHBA, president and CEO of HSMAI. “Their work inspired the world to get out and create memories through travel, and HSMAI is proud to honor them.”

“We are deeply honored to see such a broad range of our marketing campaigns and programs recognized in the prestigious Adrian Awards,” said Nerissa Okiye, Martin County Tourism Director. “These achievements would not be possible without the ongoing support of our partners, and we look forward to finding creative new ways to promote Martin County in the future.”
