We offer group classes in a variety of dance styles. Our professional instructors will have you heating up the dance floor in no time. Have a blast, exercise, meet new people, and gain confidence, all with the power of Latin dance. Colloquium: Let’s Take Care of the Oceans

On August 25-26, Aqua will host a special Colloquium: Let’s Take Care of the Oceans with José Urteaga. José Urteaga is conducting doctoral studies in the Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources at Stanford University. His previous academic experience includes a post-graduate diploma in Sea Fisheries (2001) and a BSc in Biological Sciences (2000) from the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, Argentina. We’ll learn how humans are impacting the oceans for profit, threatening other people’s livelihoods globally. Also, all seven sea turtles are classified as endangered mainly due to human activities. Accidental capture in fishing gear, often resulting in death, is the greatest threat to most sea turtles. Finally, we’ll have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on activity at the turtle nesting beach.

The resort also offers wellness services such as spa treatments, yoga, meditation, and fresh and tasty international and Nicaraguan fare at Coconuts restaurant and beach bar. Eco-friendly practices are well ingrained in the Aqua experience.
