Rail Europe has officially launched its new B2C website and app, now available in the US. The company has developed a state-of-the-art booking engine which gives customers access to its extensive booking inventory.

In addition to its new contemporary look, Rail Europe’s new website has a state-of-the-art booking engine. As well as having real-time connections with all the train companies Rail Europe partners with, the website has a much wider inventory of places, journey classes and routes that customers can book and visit.

Customers can also download the app on Android and IOS, buy their tickets using it and see their purchases, even when offline. Customers can also easily exchange many of their tickets or request a refund themselves on the app.

For travel in Great Britain, Rail Europe now offers Pricehack fares, their name for a split ticketing system which is quite unique to Great Britain. In short, this is a train journey fare splitter technology which gets the best possible price for each leg of a journey. This can sometimes mean getting up to 50% off a normal fare.

“This is a great event for us and we are really proud of this success. We have been working for several months on the replatforming of our solutions. It was important for Rail Europe to be able to offer a new booking experience to our customers after the crisis that we have been going through. I truly believe that in the future, travel needs to be simple, safe and environmentally friendly, and this is what we are selling. Thanks to our new website and app, our North American customers will be able to travel around Europe easily, safely and without excess CO2 emissions.” says Dâu-Khôi Nguyen, Rail Europe President and CEO.
