The first single-aisle Airbus A321neo, designed exclusively for La Compagnie, commenced transatlantic service on June 6th between Paris Orly Airport (ORY) and Newark International Airport (EWR). The thoroughly modern, efficient and eco-friendly A321neo will enable the all business-class boutique airline to accelerate its development between New York and Paris while offering a better experience to all passengers.

On lease from GECAS, La Compagnie’s A321neo is powered by CFM International LEAP 1A new generation engines and features a unique and spacious business-class only cabin with 76 full-flat seats supplied by Rockwell Collins Diamond® in a 2×2 configuration. For optimal comfort, the seats recline to flat beds with a comfy over-mattress, ensuring passengers are well-rested upon arrival in New York or Paris.

The new A321neo will take La Compagnie’s onboard technology to new heights with new generation Rave systems by Zodiac Inflight Innovations. Passengers can choose from a wide range of movies and music displayed on 15’7-inch touch screens with noise cancelling headsets. For the first time since launch, all passengers will be able to connect to complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi supplied by Viasat Inc. With unlimited internet access, passengers can go beyond curated entertainment throughout their in-flight experience, which rivals connectivity standards on the ground.

Keeping with La Compagnie’s signature service, travelers will be welcomed with lounge and priority access for a easy and painless pre-flight experience. Onboard the A321neo, guests will enjoy refreshing amenity kits with Caudalie skincare products, seasonally curated menus by New York and Paris based chefs, a selective list of French wines and champagne, and artisanal croissants by famous French bakery, Maison Kayser.

“By selecting Airbus and its A321neo, we are able to reinvent the La Compagnie experience and offer the best to our passengers at the most attractive fare,” said Jean Charles Périno, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for La Compagnie. “At La Compagnie, we are focused on developing our performance across all fronts and are proud to work with Airbus to offer a competitive alternative to business-class travel between two dynamic and innovative cities.”

To introduce the new aircraft, La Compagnie partnered with Parisian street artist, Gaetan Heuzé to design a fresco to illustrate the onboard services. His work can be viewed here and onboard the aircraft with illustrations displayed on the windows. La Compagnie will operate its first Airbus A321neo on its B0101 flights departing New York (EWR) at 7:00PM and arriving in Paris (ORY) at 8:40AM the following morning. Westbound B0100 flights will leave Paris at 10:30AM with a same-day arrival in New York at 1:00PM.
