Idyllworks of Maine's first weekend getaway will feature jewelry making.

Idyllworks, a Maine-based company offering creative retreats for women, will launch in June with a special Springtime in Maine getaway June 12 – 15 at Georgetown’s Grey Havens Inn in midcoast Maine.

Founded by longtime friends Elizabeth Sokoloff and Patty Kimball, Idyllworks offers exclusive, professionally-guided, women-only getaways. Guests enjoy unique opportunities for self-expression and creativity in an inspiring and nurturing environment.

“We created Idyllworks because we love Maine, beautiful art, good food and great company,” says Sokoloff. “We want to share Maine’s unique artistic, culinary and natural resources,” she adds.

The first getaway, offered in June, includes a three-night stay at a seaside inn and jewelry making workshops taught by internationally known bead maker and jewelry designer Stephanie Sersich. It also includes jewelry making materials, morning yoga classes, and all meals, including a lobster feast.

“Our vision is to provide women with a place to connect, rejuvenate and tap into their own creativity. We know that keeping up with the demands of daily life is a necessity, but so should be the chance to escape the everyday and explore new territories both out in the world and within ourselves,” Kimball says.

Space is limited and reservations are required.
