TTG Incontri, the most important business to business tourism fair in Italy, scheduled for October 17-19, 2013 in Rimini Fair quarters, introduces TTG Next, an area that will be dedicated to innovative Start-up companies. TTG Next wishes to offer a unique showcase to new projects and ideas in the tourism field: over 50,000 sector professionals will be meeting in Rimini on October 17 to 19, 2013 to take part in TTG Incontri, the trade fair of reference for Italian tourism, with a great number of exhibitors taking part: more than 2,400 national and international exhibiting companies and over 130 destinations will be represented.

“For an event like ours, deriving its strength from the true closeness to the real market – says Paolo Audino, managing director of TTG Italia, the Rimini Fiera Group company organising TTG Incontri -, start-ups are a very topical subject, boding well for the whole sector. The wide range of technological applications created for our industry and the across-the board character of the industry itself are just two of the reasons why the proliferation of new initiatives and the deep involvement of young entrepreneurs are much more widespread in tourism than in other sectors”.

TTG Next, carried out in collaboration with the group gathered under the hashtag #startupturismo, has immediately been greeted with favour by the market, which has enthusiastically responded to this proposal: already more than 20 start-ups have confirmed their presence in the exhibition area to present their projects, discuss and search for further new ideas. The programme includes pitches (project presentations) and in-depth study sessions dedicated to the start-up law decree, to crowdfunding and to successful case histories. The Ministry for Economic Development will also take part, to talk about start-ups and opportunities for investment for tourism enterprises. “Once again – Mr. Audino carries on – TTG incontri offers an occasion for structured and modern exchange to all sector operators. The involvement of Mise and the readiness of its managers to collaborate in this initiative – whose costs are met entirely by TTG Italia– confirm the leading role that TTG Incontri has now firmly undertaken in the sector at the national and international level”.

The appointment is set for October 17-19, 2013 in Rimini Fiera.
