Pacific Delight Tours has launched a new brand following the introduction of programs to South America, the most recent phase of their continued global expansion. Operating under the moniker PDT Tours, the luxury travel experts deliver inspiring experiences to destinations such as Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.

“While our expansions into India, French Polynesia, Australia and New Zealand remained compatible with our geographic profile, we are first and foremost experts on luxury travel for discerning American visitors,” said Eric Oborski, President of PDT Tours. “Our South America programs have been carefully assembled with the same attention to detail as our most popular Asia itineraries.”

Oborski acknowledged the challenge of launching a new brand considering Pacific Delight Tours enjoys a strong reputation as a world-class vacation provider, but explained the company is not starting from scratch with PDT Tours.

“The travel agent community has referred to us as PDT for decades. Even the retail trade publications feature our company initials in their headlines,” said Oborski. “In a sense, the brand has already been in use for decades. It’s sort of like a nickname we’ve always been answering to but have not officially embraced until now.”

PDT Tours soft-launched its new brand with a seven-day Peru adventure and has subsequently added or is in the process of adding several experiential programs across South America covering points of interest in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and the Galapagos.

Pacific Delight’s seven-day Peru Program takes travelers to Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco, along with a full-day tour of different Incan communities and antique salt mines.
