Midtown stalwart the Sheraton New York Times Square recently unveiled their completely renovated Lower Lobby meeting space. The $2.2 million remodel has resulted in 11,000 sq ft of more intimate and boutique-style conference rooms, lobby and meeting areas. It now boasts space for groups ranging from 10-150 attendees and offers a dedicated events team to help organize based on the needs of the group, including catering. The Sheraton New York Times Square now partners with some of the most iconic NYC local vendors such as Murray’s Cheese and Zabar’s.

Each meeting room is named for a different neighborhood in New York, from Columbus Circle to Union Square and features state-of-the-art technology and a clean, unobtrusive design scheme.

The Lower Lobby space, formerly known as the Executive Conference Center, will be renamed in May after a nationwide contest beginning on March 20, 2015. Meeting planners are invited to submit a new name for the Executive Conference Center, for the chance to win 50,000 Starwood Preferred Guest® (SPG) Starpoints or a donation to the charity of their choice. Submissions must be received by midnight EDT on April 30, 2015 and emailed to nymetromarketleads at starwoodhotels dot com. Maximum of one entry per person and the charity selection must be approved by Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
