South African Airways Vacations (SAAV) has launched a new travel partner portal that will make earning 12 percent and higher commission easily accessible to agents throughout North America, with a wealth of knowledge available in a few clicks. Agents will be able to view commission structure plus agency bonus incentive program, booking forms, an image gallery and promotions. Itineraries can be downloaded and customized with the partner’s information to be forwarded to a client.

The tour operator has also released two new packages: 

– The “Jack Hanna Shamwari Safari with One&Only” features nine days following in Jungle Jack Hanna’s footsteps, paired with a luxurious stay at One&Only Cape Town, starting at just $4,025 ppdo (plus taxes/fees). The trip includes four nights at the chic and urban One&Only Cape Town (bed-and-breakfast basis) and three nights at the exclusive Shamwari Private Game Reserve, for a behind-the-scenes Jack Hanna Safaris experience.

Benefits will include exclusive use of safari Land Rover with a private “Jack Hanna” guide for game drives, white rhino tracking on foot, cheetah tracking on foot, leopard telemetric tracking plus equipment demonstration, exclusive involvement in the Ranger training program, a ranger who was involved with Jack Hanna during his filming visit, meals and transfers, and a SAA Vacations meet and greet.

This package includes one night at the luxury Saxon Boutique Hotel, Villas & Spa on a bed-and-breakfast basis; three nights at Lion Sands River Lodge for a classic safari, with meals and game drives included’ three nights at the glamorous One&Only Cape Town on a bed-and-breakfast basis; and transfers and meet and greet from SAA Vacations personnel.

Prices are valid for travel September 1–30, 2011, with the same itinerary available at higher prices during other travel periods. Both packages include international and African domestic flights on South African Airways.
