Beginning May 1st, airberlin is connecting New York and Berlin, with a non-stop flight. Flight AB7248 from Berlin to New York was serviced using an Airbus A330-200 with a total capacity for 303 passengers. The flight with 289 passengers on board departed from Berlin-Tegel at 1:00 p.m. and landed at JFK airport in New York at 3:45 p.m. The first flight back from New York to Berlin also took place on May 1st at 5:25 p.m and arrived at Berlin Tegel airport at approximately 7:10 a.m, on Monday morning May 2nd.
