American Airlines and Japan Airlines, cooperating under their Pacific Joint Business Agreement, have launched a fare sale for travel on continental United States routes to Japan as well as select cities in China operated by the two oneworld® alliance members. The offer is valid for round-trip travel originating and ticketed in the United States on select Economy Class fares booked on www.AA.com or www.ar.jal.com. Outbound travel is allowed between January 23 and April 1, and all travel must be completed by April 30, 2012.

Sample fares shown below are each way, require round-trip travel and include surcharges. A portion of, or all travel for some itineraries, may be operated by American Airlines, Japan Airlines, American Eagle or the AmericanConnection carrier, Chautauqua Airlines.

Also, in celebration of Japan Airlines new service between Boston and Tokyo Narita, beginning April 22 and subject to government approval, customers can earn double AAdvantage® miles or JAL Mileage Bank miles every time they fly the new nonstop service using qualifying Business Class and most Economy Class fares between April 22, 2012, and June 30, 2012. The route is the first nonstop service by any airline between the two cities, and the first service to link Boston directly with Asia.
