Groups of 6 or more traveling on an Explorer Ventures (EV) Liveaboard now receive one free berth for every five paid (maximum of two free per charter).

“This is not a special we are offering, this is new policy,” said Clay McCardell, President of Explorer Ventures. McCardell says that booking trends have shown that people are traveling in smaller groups and decided to make it more attractive for them to do so. It opens up great deals for families or small groups of friends traveling together and it makes it easier for sellers of dive travel to put groups together. “It’s working well for our clients and it’s working well for Explorer Ventures,” McCardell said.

Not only has (EV) responded to smaller group trends, it has also responded to difficulties some find in meeting the “traditional” dive industry group payment terms which require an initial deposit followed by one or two sizeable interim deposits and then, the final payment. This new Alternative Group Payment Plan developed by EV divides the initial deposit and all interim deposits into equal monthly payments, enabling groups to manage their cash flows better. For those who request it, EV has also waived credit card fees for monthly payments.

From the initial reservation contact through the follow-up after the guest returns home, Explorer Ventures delivers exceptional service and product quality, so it’s not surprising that 98 percent of EV guests would recommend them to a friend. The EV Fleet is composed of liveaboard boats in five destinations including the Southern Bahamas, the Turks & Caicos Islands, the Northeastern Caribbean (Saba/St. Kitts), the Galapagos Islands and the Maldives.
