With more than 40 hotels in 5 countries in South America- Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Chile – GHL Hoteles has announced that it has taken direct action to promote its hotels within the USA travel agent community. GHL Hoteles’ brand portfolio includes Royal Sonesta, Sheraton, Sonesta, Four Points, Howard Johnson and GHL and GHL Comfort in more than 25 cities of the Andean region.

Juan Rodriguez Medina, Chief Marketing Officer for the company notes “This strategic move comes from our understanding that while tourism toward South America has experienced a consistent increase in the last couple of years from several parts of the world, the US is still the most important market for tourism for many of our hotels and destinations.”
