Mandarin Oriental Miami, Azul restaurant and The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Miami are all recipients of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award for 2013, making the hotel one of only six properties in the United States and the only hotel in Florida to earn the highly coveted triple Five Stars. The Spa has earned the Five-Star designation for five consecutive years.

Forbes describes Five-Star recipients as “the finest establishments in the world, delivering guests an experience beyond their expectations.”  For 2013, only 35 spas, 28 restaurants and 76 hotels received the coveted Five-Star rating.
