Vacationers from across the world will discover an entirely new way to explore and engage with the Caribbean Region as the Caribbean Tourism Development Company (CTDC) prepare to re-launch its regional marketing website with an enhanced design and search capability.

“The new website will be a one-stop, complete and comprehensive site that will revolutionize the research and vacation planning process for millions of consumers around the world looking for a vacation in the leading warm weather destination – the Caribbean,” said Beverly N. Nicholson-Doty, CTO Chairman, Commissioner of Tourism for the U.S. Virgin Islands and CTDC co-chair.

The destination sections of the website will be comprised of country branded micro-sites that will instantly allow the individual country brands to shine and showcase the best they have to offer. Fresh editorial content powered by publishers from around the world will also ensure that the website continues to be a leading resource for consumers to learn about and experience all things Caribbean.

Richard J. Doumeng, CHTA president and CTDC co-chair, stated: “The website’s advanced searching capabilities will make finding the ideal Caribbean resort easier than ever for consumers, as well as allow hoteliers, restaurants, attractions and other visitor activities the ability to showcase their properties like never before.”

CaribbeanTravel.com will act as a single, centralized source for exploring and promoting the CHTA’s member hotels, resorts, restaurants and activities,” said Doumeng. “It will feature a regional editorial newsstand with fresh and branded content from travel writers and top publishers from around the world, preparing and intriguing consumers to embark on travels and vacations throughout the region,” Doumeng said.

One of the most important features of the site is its multi-platform and multi-resolution responsive web design capability.

“The future of marketing the Caribbean begins now with the CTDC re-launching CaribbeanTravel.com promoting and protecting the Caribbean Brand,” said Nicholson-Doty.
