Seabourn has launched a free, online course for travel agents that is packed with insights, techniques and tips from the most successful sellers of luxury travel in the world. Seabourn Academy, a six-module training program that agents can access on the internet.

Seabourn Academy comprises six courses, each divided into four to seven lessons. Each course opens with a list of learning objectives, each lesson includes a quiz, and each course ends with a final exam. The courses cover topics such as an Introduction to Luxury Cruising, Selling to Luxury Clients and Support to Help You Make Sales. Three of the courses provide detailed information about Seabourn’s onboard experience, its fleet of six all-suite ships and the seven geographical regions where they cruise.

Agents who complete the training receive certification as a Seabourn specialist. Seabourn Academy training also qualifies for education credits from CLIA, The Travel Institute in the United States and the Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors (CITC). In addition, agent graduates can qualify for a $100 bonus commission on a first Seabourn booking made within 60 days after graduation.
