Daytona Beach, one of Florida’s largest cities for tourism, has partnered with SkyNav™, an immersive marketing technology company based in San Francisco, in launching their first sky-to-ground 3D, 360º virtual tour of the city ranging from the Daytona International Speedway to the coastal shores. Take a look at Daytona Beach’s immersive tour here.

SkyNav™ brings every inch of this beach city to life by way of stunning 360º immersive aerial to ground spherical imagery that is VR ready. Each tour is full of interactive elements including, image galleries, YouTube videos, and trackable actions that allow potential visitors and planners to explore the coastal city as if they were already there. As a result of this immersive marketing platform, SkyNav™ tours enjoy upwards of 4-25 minutes time on-site per visitor.

“This technology allows potential visitors to virtually experience spectacular views of our beautiful beach destination. Now more than ever, virtual tours are a wonderful tool for families who are dreaming about their next vacation. Using SkyNav’s 360-degree technology, they can immerse themselves in a beach vacation experience, from the comfort of their own home,” says Kay Galloway, Director of Marketing & Design of Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Increasing time on site was one of our main goals and SkyNav has really delivered. Users were very quick to hop on the 360-degree tour and those that do spend an average of four minutes on the site. This was exactly why we selected SkyNav’s technology!”

Additionally, this immersive virtual tour was made up of a few breakout experiences to highlight specific tourist destinations. The Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort received an immersive tour of the resort’s grounds, and conference rooms, giving potential guests and convention event planners an inside look on the property.

“We are using SkyNav immersive technology to help with virtual site visits since people are not traveling, as well as a cutting edge sales tool to assist clients and showcase the property,” Robert Eubank Director of Sales & Marketing of Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort.
