Royal Caribbean Cruises has signed a multi-year, distribution agreement with Sabre Travel Network, making all of Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises’ fares and schedules available in the Sabre global distribution system (GDS). Under the new agreement, Sabre and Royal Caribbean have expanded their relationship to include travel agents in Mexico, who will now be able to make bookings on Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises through the Sabre Red Workspace.

“Travel agents are invaluable to our industry and Sabre’s powerful technology can help us deliver greater access and convenience to more of them,” said Vicki Freed, senior vice president of Sales and Trade Support and Service for Royal Caribbean International. “The new Sabre agreement reflects our company’s commitment to supporting our valued travel agent partners and helping them sell more cruises, increase profits and grow their businesses.”

“As a leading cruise line, Royal Caribbean is an important supplier for travel agents who rely on Sabre’s industry-leading technology for the comprehensive content they need,” said Jay Jones, senior vice president of The Americas for Sabre Travel Network. “Agencies in Mexico will experience increased efficiency through booking automation, and a comprehensive shopping view including cruises and stateroom pictures, to better serve customers’ travel queries.”
